Kids' Center*
Palmaia's Waldorf-style kids' center is open every day from 9am-6pm for kids starting at 3 years old to participate in a device-free, children’s activities program, with natural stimuli that allows them to connect with their true nature.
All childcare professionals are qualified personnel who seek to create an environment that draws avant-garde thinking, giving children opportunities to explore and nurture their senses creatively and naturally, with activities such as bread making, sculpture, treasure hunts, and more. We are committed to the development of self-knowledge, working through their will, and always focusing on their well-being.
Any child who is not potty trained must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Sandos Playacar also has a kids center available at no extra charge.

Babysitting Services
Private babysitting services are offered from 9am-6pm every day for $25/child/hour. Childcare required after 6pm is available based on availability; we highly encourage you to arrange any after-hours babysitting with the resort ahead of time to have a higher chance of securing care. There is an additional $10 fee incurred for after-hour childcare.

The program of activities at House of AïA is called "Architects of Life" and features an array of rituals and practices that strengthen our connection to nature.
House of AïA has created a program allowing us to connect to nature and ourselves through personal exploration of the physical body and the subconscious mind. With over 20 rotating classes as well as mind and body instructors from around the world, this personal growth program becomes the most comprehensive ever offered at any resort. As part of our giving nature, all classes are included in your stay.

We're ready for you to join us! Please note prices below; total price for trip (including taxes) is displayed in each category, excluding any additional luxury services you purchase. There is a nonrefundable $250 registration fee due per reservation. We have displayed some situational pricing for your convenience, but you can access a full price calculator here. "Child" pricing applies to anyone between the ages of 3-12, while "Teen/Adult" pricing applies to 13-18+. Any infants (0-2) can attend at no additional charge.
Please note that airfare and transportation are not included in this tour.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Through September 20, 2022 (30 days before arrival date), participants may cancel the reservation without penalty. Between September 21-October 19, any room cancellation will result in a 2 night penalty charge per person. No shows on the date of arrival will result in a penalty fee of half of your total payment.
WE RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE
The Vegan Foodie Tour is not responsible for cancellations due to medical or personal emergencies so we highly recommend purchasing travel Insurance. Companies like Travelex and Allianz Global Assistance are reputable but you can choose any vendor you like. Just make sure that they have an A+ rating from the BBB. Travel insurance generally costs 5-7% of your total trip cost. The Vegan Foodie Tour is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a cancellation.
COVID-19 POLICY
There is currently no testing requirement when leaving or entering the United States. If anything concerning COVID-19 changes, we will communicate any change in policy to the main point of contact for your party.

HOw it works

Pay the nonrefundable registration fee and fill out the Room Request form.
Click the "Purchase Now" button below and pay the $250 registration fee in our secure portal. Once you have successfully paid, you will receive an email within 24 hours to complete the registration form.

Confirm your booking with Palmaia and make payment.
Within 36 hours of submitting the registration form, a reservation representative from House of AïA will call you to confirm your reservation and take payment over the phone.
03
If necessary, make second payment by October 1st. September 20th is the last day to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund.
House of AïA will reach out to receive the second payment installation. Please keep in mind our cancellation policy above.

Attend the pre-trip webinar to discuss the trip and any questions necessary.
The Zoom meeting invitation will be sent to you via email and will be recorded.

Arrive in Playa del Carmen on October 20th.
Arrive at House of AïA via the transportation method you arranged and check in. You may put a credit or debit card on file at check in. Any extra products or services acquired during your stay will be charged to the card you put on file. If you do not have a credit card, please reach out to discuss additional options.
